  1. What I think this quote means in my own word is that sometimes you can get good from bad and bad from good. For example when I was younger and my grandma died it was very sad for me to handle something like that at a young age. but we all have to go through it sometimes. but even though it was a negative thing something good came from that I got to see parts of my family I never saw before. how something can go from good to bad is by doing something fun like doing a pyramid with your friends and the person at the top falls and ends up breaking something. Another time I saw in a movie where something good went really bad for example in the show the walking dead they haven't seen a live animal in a long time since the zombies killed everything. and when they finally find a deer someone comes out from no where and kills it and the bullet goes through the deer and bits and pieces ends up hitting a little kid. In that same show something bad went go when that boy got shot the person who shoots them has a farm where they can stay so that they don't have to live in a car and they will have shelter and food for them.

  2. I think this quote called "heaven is hell and hell is heaven" by John Milton is a good quote. I think it is a good quote because it can mean different things. So if you do something bad like steal a bike it can help you because it can get you some where you need to go in a short amount of time. So that's why I think about that quote hell is heaven.
I think this quote called "heaven is hell" is a good quote because it can mean different things. I think is it a good quote because if u do something good it can back fire on you. One of the things that I did was let of my friends friend stay in my house. The next day I woke up and all of my good things were gone. some of the good things are like head phones, money, phones, jewelry.
So me and my brother and dad went to the kids house and said for him and told them what happened and they said that he didn't leave there anymore. They told us that he did the same thing for them and they never saw him after that. Then we went to his best friends house and we saw him there so we knock and his friend opened it and we went in your and beat him up. So we took are stuff back and left. That is made up. en of Hell, a Hell of Heave”

  3. “The mind is its own place and in itself, can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven” I like this quote. I think this quote means you can either make your own happiness or your own saddness. What you make out of your life is your own happiness. It depends on how you look at things. If your a sad person, everything you do is going to be sad. You are in charge of your own happiness. This quote can also relate to karma. If you're a good person, you will get good karma otherwise you will get bad karma. Your choices depend on the good and bad in life.

  4. “The mind is it's own place and in itself, can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven” by John Milton. Means to me that it depends on the person on what they do as well their own reaction to it. For example a wonderful student with fantastic grades buys a candy bar. He finishes it and throws it out but misses the trash can. He knows that it's right in front of his face on the ground, and decides to leave it where it is. Then he reports to class late. The teacher says to him “you have a thirty for the marking period”. That would be Heaven of Hell. The reason why is because he did not even bothered to pick up the raper, and throw it properly into the trash can. That is the reason why. Now a Heaven of Hell would be a student who has bad grades is nasty to everyone until he sees a teacher walking, and his wallet falls out from behind and did not even notice it. The young man sees the wallet, he picks it up there is money, credit cards, driver's licensee, etc. But right in front of him is a exit door for him to leave, he knows that teacher is not far from him. Should he leave with it or do the right thing which is to return it to him. He decided to do the proper thing. He returns the wallet to the teacher. The teacher says “thank you, you don know how relived I am. I was starting to panic for it. Thank you for finding it.” the young man says “no problem”. He leaves the building. Next day the principle rewards him with student of the year. By putting a picture frame of him on the student hall of fame. That would be Hell of Heaven. The reason why is because he had done something good. Now what it explains that if you are good person you always do good things never the opposite of it. But if you a person who has bad character try to change by being better person. That is what I think the quote means to me.

  5. I think this quote means that the mind is strong and it makes up everything that comes together in life and you can either make situations good or bad because the mind is so powerful it can turn reality into nothing. It's almost like looking at the glass half full of half empty. If you want you can make an analogy out of it and say the glass half full is a "heaven of hell" and the glass half empty is a "hell of heaven". It's all about how fast a person can process something through their head and if their brain is strong enough to handle it.

  6. i think this quote means although you life can be good you can make a living hell out of it with just on e wrong turn. for example your doing good in school getting rewarded outside. well lets just say you start slacking off and your grades drop. then instead of being rewarded you will be in trouble in school and outside of school. all those good things you had are now taken away and you now cant do anything because you decided you could slack off and not get in trouble. well in the past your life was great but you have a living hell now because you decided its okay to slack off. i can relate to this situation personally because its happened to me so now i try. but the times i do slack off i do get in trouble for example being able to drive. but now i cant because i slacked off and my grades went down. so this is what i think of the quote above.

  7. This quote is a very true quote. What I think this quote means is that you can choose your happiness or sadness. Also you can find happiness in your sadness, and sadness in happiness. We can control how we feel. Often we feel very sad for various reasons. Sometimes we forget that we can forget about it and push it aside and just smile. This quote lives within us everyday. We all have those days where we feel down or we are just the happiest. I think we can always control all our emotions and how we feel. I know that when I get upset over something stupid I try to remember that it's not worth getting upset over it and I just brush it off. When someone is sad I think everyone should stop and remember we can always control our emotions.

    1. I think you are right patricia, because you should forget on what you'r upset about, and try to push it off. So can get back to your topic. That is a very good response.
