  1. If something is too good to be true, or was too easy to get, it probably is not worth it, or not even anything at all. "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." That quote could not be more true.

There are many people who have been given oppourunities that are too good to be true. Unfortunatly, some people do not realize this and they soon enough. For many famous people, they did not work too hard for what they got. Many people fall for those awful agencies that are pretty much only there to get your money, not show you off to the world for your talent. Many people know of Rebecca Black. She is the creator of the song "Friday". That song could not be more of a joke to the world, but yet it could not be more serious to Rebecca. She really tried and put in effort and says that the song "comes from her heart". She payed to have her music recorded. The people who did it are known for producing no talent kids, but they have money, so that's all that matters to them.

That girls story is proof this quote is true. If you find some record company willing to sign you right away, it is a pretty good sign that you are not going too far.

    1. I agree with Gabby. Things are so trivial today. If you find no problems with something why keep trying/going/doing it.

    2. partially right gabby if there are no obstacles it may be too good to be true, but some of them do it simply because they enjoy it. Rebecca Black enjoyed making friday which seems to be why she made it.

  2. "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere."
This quote to me means that if you are doing something ,and it isn't hard or you don't have problems with it then it might be useless to keep going on with it. Like for an example, say if somebody was good with music ,and they had no trouble at all with it how would that help them? You need to learn from the obstacles. I play guitar ,and write songs. I often get writer's blog. I can't help it. It gets irritating at times but, I know if I give up not trying then why did I even attempt it. It'd be very useless. Wouldn't you agree? So I continue playing as much as I can practicing to get better ,and I write more ,and read more so I can learn more literature to put in my songs. That's why English is one of my favorite subjects. I feel sometimes everybody has a path that leads nowhere but, in do time they find that out ,and go to the next path in their life. Like a quote said "Don't judge my path if you haven't walked my journey." That has a much bigger meaning though. I feel that obstacles are meant to be life changers/makers they help direct us to success. If obstacles weren't here we wouldn't be as human as we are today. Would we know proper language? Obstacles are problems that we face to help us further on in life for the long run. So next time an obstacle comes in your way face it ,and beat it so you can advance ,and be successful.

    1. Laire, this is superbly written. I totally agree with your perspective on this quotation. If there is an obstacle to face in life, you feel so much better once you achieve the goal and fight through that obstacle. Nothing in life should be easy. Great job!!

  3. The quote, "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere" means to me that you are not going to have anything just handed to you. Most of the time you have to work for it. No one has money just handed to them when they are 25 years old, unless you are on disability. When people make or invent something, for example, Thomas Edison. He didn't just wake up one day and the light bulb was just there. He worked for it and tried different things. It didn’t work the first few times. But he ended up getting it, right? All our presidents took a very difficult and stressful path. Every president worked their butts off for our country. When 9/11 happened with Bush just step down from being president? No. He did everything he can to help this country. That must have been so stressful for him during that time too. He didn’t step down because he knows that is his job and that’s the path he chose to take. Even in a relationship. People have obstacles with their parents, best friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, ect. in your everyday life. If you want your whole life handed to you, that is going down the wrong path, because its most likely not going to go so well. And if you think you are going to be a drug dealer, that is a terrible path to take. You aren’t going to get very far with that. You want to have a great life. So even if it takes a while to get to your career and get your life together the way you need it to be, do it. You may loose some friends along the way, but it will be worth it in the end.

  4. This quote “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” Is right on. No one has a perfect life. Kids many think just because you have money there is no problems, but they’re wrong. I go through obstacles everyday in my life. Everyone has obstacles. Bad things lead to good things. Such as deaths, they are bad things and put people back and it makes them not focus. If we didn’t have problems the world would be a lot different. Everyone’s lives would be great, but it isn’t like that. A path that I went down was not doing any of my school work in middle school. They told me I was going to be held back. This set me back a lot. I was put in basic skills classes so I could hopefully do better with the amount of work. This did help me. I was in smaller classes so I could learn at a slower and get all my work done. Now this is killing me because I am not in any collage prep classes and I am working my way up to them. All because of one thing I did I am behind. If I didn’t have this problem im sure I would have ran into another problem somewhere. I don’t want to be in these classes anymore I want to be with the kids that try in school because that’s what I do now. If I didn’t have obstacles in my life I wouldn’t now what to do with myself.

  5. The quote “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” basically means that if something is too easy or has no challenge then you will not gain any knowledge or experience while doing it. Choosing a path that has obstacles will let you learn knew things and over come fears. It will show that you can do anything you set your mind too. A path with no obstacles will lead you nowhere but where you started. If you try very hard and fight for what you want the outcome will be much more successful.

For example, If you go to school for being a teacher but you don't try hard or just cheat your way through you'll end up just screwing yourself. If you actually work hard and try your best you will end up being better than you thought you could be and actually know what you're doing.

I was always told that it may be quicker to take the easier way out but that won't always be the best choice. I always try to challenge myself because I know that it will make me a stronger person mentally and physically. Pushing yourself to do something good in your life will make you a much more better, happier, and successful person.

  6. If a path has no obstacles, then the benefits are unlikely to be rewarding and fulfilling. If one were to find a job with ease in the current unemployment situation, with little to no education required, then it likely won’t have a good salary. If an aspiring author were to write a book in a matter of hours, there is a good chance it’s lousy. The obstacles are almost always what make it rewarding. Mike Tyson, one of if not the most well known boxers in the sport, got there from being a former heavyweight champion.
The Assassin’s creed series, Dishonored, CoD: MW, Minecraft, and the nostalgic game that made the popularized the industry in the first place, Doom, all made their way to fame due to years of hard work and determination. Bill Gates and Microsoft became famous overnight for the PC Steve Jobs and Apple did the same by changing the world forever with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod. Great movies like jaws, ET, back to the future, The Hangover, King Kong, and The Shankshaw Redemption all live in infamy because they are great movie having overcome the challenge of amazing plot, special effects, and good old nostalgia.
In order to do anything that will get your name in slot in history be it through becoming president, winning the Olympics, staring in a movie, or making complex equations and theories that explain the inner workings of the universe all require moving through difficulties and obstacles that stand in ones path. I once had trouble learning to read and now I go through books like swarm of locusts.

  7. There are always challenges in life. It is never easy to reach your goals, and there should always be some obstacles in the course of reaching goals. From my own experience and observations, I believe that you should never take the easy way out. If I were to take the easy way out, I would not feel as if I have accomplished anything because it would have been too easy. It would not satisfy me to know that I have reached a goal without going through any hardships in the process. In the real world, if a student is working to attend and Ivy League school, such as Harvard, Princeton or Yale, they would not do so by slacking in school. A student has to work hard and survive the obstacle of school and getting good grades, as well as participating in extracurricular activities to attend such extravagant universities. Someone who sits in the back of the classroom and does not work hard will obviously not be accepted into such prestigious schools because they have not survived their obstacle of school as profoundly as those students who have been accepted to the top-notch universities. The slacking students have not overcome their obstacles. Therefore, they have hit a dead end. Instead of their road leading to a divine university, and then a wonderful job that will ensure them a good future (which will assist them in supporting themselves, as well as a family if they choose to have one), the slacker will have a difficult time finding a job without a college degree. The majority of the good jobs nowadays search for professionals with a college degree, and some businesses look for employees with higher degrees of education, such as a masters degree or a Ph.D. Basically what I am trying to state is: to achieve anything throughout one’s life and find the proper road to follow through life, there absolutely must be obstacles that we must overcome. Any one human being with any conscious life experience would be aware of this and is overcoming their obstacles to choose their path in life.

  8. This is a very good quote. I can relate this quote to a lot of different things but my personal experiences will be easiest to expand on. “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” What that means is, if you dont have to work hard for something, the reward will not be worth it. As an example, if you are going to go to the gym to lose weight, if you only go once or twice a week and dont work as hard as you should you wont lose a lot of weight if any at all. This quote can be true for anything in life. School, work, sports, if you dont work hard to get somewhere you wont get anywhere. You only get what you put in. As for me, every year i say to myself, "I want to improve as a student and become a better, more well rounded individual." Obviously this never happens as a result of my grades, but it goes right back to the quote. When i dont work hard or dont have any obstacles, ill never improve or my education wont lead anywhere. I should learn from this quote. I would benefit a lot from learning goo study ethics and routines and possibly i could get it into a good college.

  9. Did you ever believe that a perfect life would make everything so simple? I'm sure many people have, and I'm one of them. You wish to be famous, to have a lot of money or even to be the president of the united states. Everyone knows that being any of theses would be absolutely amazing to have that kind of power, but nothing is ever that simple. If it was simple, life would not be that interesting. It requires a lot of work and maybe a long the way you make mistakes but learn from them. "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” This quote is a perfect example of a movie my family and I have come to love. It is called, "Bruce almighty".
In the amazing film "Bruce almighty", he had a life like many people have today. He had to wait for traffic, was always late for work, had a wife who was a teacher and he felt like his life was all kinds of boring. That all changed when he met a man who claimed to be god, but Bruce didn’t believe what he was saying. So god decided that Bruce would become him and have a taste of a simple life along with his powers. When Bruce first uses his powers, he can't stop himself from having fun. Little does he later find out that, that fun would also come with a price. His wife wants nothing to do with him, he lost his job, and on top of all of that, the world has gone crazy. Finally, he gets to a breaking point where he can't take it anymore, he wanted his old life back, and take the normal rode again. That quote i think is a good example of this movie cause having the perfect life really isn't perfect if your not happy. Don't you think?

  10. “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.”
to me this quote means simpily if you dont work for something, it wont really happen. when you have a dream you have to work for it, you have to put sweat into something to get a good result. if you just exspect someone to pick you out of the hundreds of other people who want the same thing in life and thats success, it wont happen you have to prove to people that you really want something. but what you have to remeber is when you fall down and you will, you have to get back up and try again. this shows determination and that you really want something. well i honestly dont think this will be long enough so i just typed this to make it longer.

  11. The quote "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." I believe means that there is no easy way of life. Everywhere you go there will be some kind of bumps in the road. Whenever anyone tries to take an easy path or try and make things in there life go away, all that you get in the end is tragedy. It never will end the way you imagined and you will become either heartbroken or depressed. There is not one person out there that has a perfect life. I believe that if you do find a path with no obstacles all its going to do is cause more problems in your life and make everything harder on you and your family. A lot of people have stress in their lives and need help in many ways but I can honestly say that if you just keep trying and work hard you will get farther in life then the people who are always trying to get shortcuts.

  12. "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere."-Anonymous. I feel everything in life is an obstacle. Nothing goes by smoothly. Whether the obstacle is big or small, everyday has its own challenges and everyone must face them everyday. If there were no challenges to test your strength in life, I feel no one would be courageous. When I overcome an obstacle, I feel I become stronger. If I overcome a challenge with friends or family, I feel we become closer. When I was nine and a half my Aunt Donna became very sick. She was diagnosed with Leukemia. I remember my whole family being so upset and crying all the time. Everyone stood by her side until she got better. I feel that made my family become a lot closer. We worked through tragedy together and overcame it. If you overcome multiple challenges in your lifetime, you will become such a stronger person and I can guarantee that from my own experience.
