  1. In the quote “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” Is saying there is no easy ways out. Anything you do in life is always going to have an obstacle you need to get around. Even for the stupidest things like, “I’m hungry but I don’t want to get up.” For example, I love to play football. One of my friends worries about me a bit when I play because he’s afraid since I’m up against bigger guy’s I’ll get hurt. I thought nothing bad can happen. In my mind it was a no brainier. I never believed there would be an obstacle, like me getting hurt. Well I was playing right receiver and I caught the ball and got taken out. The kid slammed into my knee. It hurt so badly! It was purple in the matter of 10 minutes. My friend looked at me and said “I told you so!” Basically I didn’t think that there was an obstacle that I would face in that situation. Next time I think that there’s nothing that can go wrong or take the easy way out, ill think twice. As I’m growing up I relies there will always be something I have to get around and face. But I will get through it and face it and be proud of myself because I was strong enough to get through that obstacle. There are so many more obstacles to come in my life and I’m excited for them to come.

    1. I completely understand where you are coming from with your interpretation of the quote. I have gone through many of the same challenges growing up with all guys and doing all the same things they did. I was hurt all the time! But I never stopped rolling with the big boys no matter how hurt I was. Now that I've read your response, I learned that period in my life was an obstacle as well and i over came it also.

    2. Justice, I agree with you commpletely. The obstacles we face just oush us to do even better then before like you do with football

    3. I agree Justice there is no easy way out in life! I love how you talked about your personal experience with football! It shows your obstacles and what you had to face

    4. I like your approach to these obstacles. You say you're excited for them, which not too many people are excited for ordeals in their lives. You completely respect the toll you have to take in your life, and you see it as something to look forward to. Good self motivation.

  2. Everything you do in life has obstacles, no matter how big or small they are. If you could get by life doing everything with no obstacles, and no tests nothing would be worth going after. The obstacles in life are what make you proud once you've done what you've been trying to do. You may try and take the easy way out, or do something different because you think that nothing will happen to you, but the truth is there will always be an obstacle. Being younger some people don't always want to put a lot of effort into what they're doing, just because they're younger, the worst could never happen to them. Wrong. Obstacles are never just for one person, or for certain people. Everyone has obstacles in their lives that they over come, and if they never had any of those obstacles, where would the glory be when you've finally over come them, and succeeded in what you needed to do.

    1. i completely agree! People our age think their invincible. They never expect "hey, something bad can happen." And I think you're right about when you said "where would the glory be." With out the obstacles in our lives, we wouldn't feel accomplished and proud of ourselves for doing some important things.

    2. I agree when you say life is full of obstacles big and small but that's what make us proud of what we have accomplished.

The quote is basically saying what I’ve been told my whole life…. That if you want something you have to work hard for it and if it comes easy to you, you didn’t earn it.
For example, you can copy a friend’s homework, but by the time your test or quiz comes
you’re out of luck. I can honestly say I’ve done that and was lost by the end of the week. Actually that was last week. Obstacles are everywhere and are most likely to sneak up on you or you create them mindlessly, but when you come up on one you should handle it in the best way so you don’t have to deal with it again

    1. I completely agree with what you're saying. If you just go through life and copy what everyone else is doing you'll never really get that over all good feeling on your own.

    2. Thats so true. When people just copy each other they wont be truely learn anything.

--Anonymous Everything in life I feel is an obstacle. Whether it is big or small, everyone has challenges they face every day. If you didn't have challenges in your lifetime, no one would ever be strong or courageous. I feel like whenever I over come a challenge of some sort, it makes me a little stronger. When I was little, my mom was sick and no one knew how to fix her disease or get it under control. I over came that challenge along side my whole family by always being there for my sister and dad and helping out around the house. Although I was like 9 at the time, I tried to help my grandma with dinner and cleaning and occasionally, laundry. Helping my mom relax and get better was the greatest challenge I ever had to overcome. Overcoming multiple challenges in your lifetime will pay off in the end and I guarantee that. I've learned in my short lifetime that, no matter how hard the challenge may seem, never give up and never show weakness. Take the bull by the horns is one of my favorite quotes ever and til the end of time, I will live by that.

  5. The quote "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." is saying if something is too easy in life, you won’t learn or gain any knowledge. Which leads you nowhere. It's better to go down a path with trials. Because you learn from your mistakes and develop into a stronger and better person. People get somewhere when they have to go through certain situations.
An example that comes to mind is when I see some people complain about running track. They feel it’s hard and some try to take the easy way out by not getting dressed for gym, skipping class or just not doing anything. We all need to realize that when you try to get out of it that still affects you in a negative way. You won’t get anything accomplished if you don’t face your struggles. Everyone at first isn’t the greatest runner. It takes time to develop a great endurance. With hard work and effort you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

  6. The quote "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably dosen't lead anywhere." I feel is saying, nothing worth working for will come easy, you have to over come obstacles in life to get where you want to be. You can't take short cuts in life, you have to work hard for what you want. I feel I apply this to my life by trying my hardest at everything I set my mind to and seeing how much closer to i've come to my goal shows that working hard pays off. For example in cheer its important to me to not take short cuts and to work my hardest to benifit my self and my team, my goal is to make level five by next season and I know if I keep trying I will succed.

  7. The quote "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere" really leaves an impresion on me. Nothing worth doing should come easy, you have to challange yourself to do new and more difficult things. These types of experiences will help you grow as a person by improving your skills or learning frome your mistakes. If you don't challenge yourself what is the point in taking a path with no obstacles. You'd be better off were you are, not moving and just staying in your little comfort zone. Take the Revolutionary War for example, To get where we are today Patriots fought and died for are country. Do you think if we let the british people walk all over us from across the sea we would be our own country? No, we would probably be sitting at home drinking tea and reciting the British national anthem. Obstacles are nessecary for develpoment so you cant expect to travel a path without them and everything be ok. A path without obstacles is just to easy, you might think it's better but it's the end result that matters. Like another famous quote says "I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference" by M. Scott Peck. Both explain the importance of how different the paths you can take are. thats why nothing worth doing is made easy it always has obsticals and if you take that path theirs no point, The choice is yours.

  9. I think that this quote means that if you don't have some sort of motivation or challenge, you'll just kind of give up and not have anything to look forward to. I mean honestly, who doesn't feel great when they've gotten their reward for something they've been working toward for a long time? Personally I tend to get unmotivated very easily and I always need some sort of challenge, physical or mental, to feel better. Some challenges aren't so good I admit, but they teach you to stay on your toes when life gives you a bigger curveball.

  10. With the quote “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” to me this means there really is no easy way out of life. Everyday you face a challenge weather your deciding what to wear, or if you should speed up when the traffic light turns yellow, they are all problems you face each and everyday. Also if there is nothing worth fighting for in life why live it? You have to have some kind of pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or say your a size 16 and you want to be a 12 your obstacles would be size 11-15 you have to fight what you want you have to get through tough times to get you where you want to be. With out any obstacles and living free you might as well call yourself Jesus.

  11. "If you find a path with no obstacles,it probably doesn't lead anywhere". Analyzing this quote with my knowledge on my life experience, I can tell that it means life isn't any easy thing to go through. If it was easy, it would be called easy, not life. Everyone goes through obstacles: conflict, mental stress, all of that. Without those obstacles, you wouldn't get anywhere in your life. You've got to work for what you want to achieve. No matter what the deal is, you've got to make it through obstacles every day of your life. If you want to make money, or have a well paying job, you have to work hard in school, and work hard in college, and work hard convincing companies that you're ready to work. Without hard work in your life, you'll turn out to be lazy and won't get anything accomplished in your life.

  12. The quote “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere” could have many different meanings to any given person. Everyone has different goals they need to reach so they all have different obstacles that will stand in their way. If we didn’t have to face obstacles would we ever really reach our true potential with our goals? The obstacles everyone faces makes us work and actually get somewhere in life, without them we would sit around and wait for everything to be handed to us. For example, when you start preparing for college, you have obstacles to get through before you even start to apply. The first one you will hit is deciding on what it is you will like to major in. Then you need to research colleges that offer that, and look into what grade point average you will need to look at SAT scores. All of these before you even start applying. Now imagine none of these stood in the way, where would you end up? Everyone could go to any college and there wouldn’t be enough room for the kids who tried. The obstacles help us to get where we really want to be, without them chances are you will end up being no where. The path without obstacles may seem easier, but where are you going to get behind a line of kids who took the same path to go no where any time fast? Obstacles prepare you for life and to accomplish your goals, to make it somewhere.

    1. I agree, getting in to collage is not easy with applying, making the grades, and the rest. But theirs no point in any of that if it's all just handed to you. People would get lazy and and have their eduction wasted. We have to keep challenging ourselfs to become better and not wast our lives.

  13. “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” I think this quote mean if you find a way through life with no bumps or curves you obviously going to have either a boring life or you took the easy way out. When you have obstacles it shows you right from wrong. You can’t go through life with nothing and come out with no broken pieces when you have broken pieces it shows you self you got throw that point in life and you didn’t give up. When I think of this quote I think of if you get knocked down its your choose to get up and brush it off or sit there and cry about it. This quote is important because when you go through life with no heart breaks, failures, or sadness you don’t learn anything you stay in the same spot and keep a boring life. It’s a natural thing to feel those problems they wouldn’t be there if you shouldn’t have them. I have felt all three, for example when I was 8 I lost the best man alive my pop-pop he was my best friend it was my first death in the family I was devastated that I just lost my best friend. No more cars ride no more jokes I felt like I lost a part of me, but I got through it with friends and family. I felt like I should be strong because he wasn’t in pain anymore. That bump in the road was big but obviously I got over it. Everyone has bumps in the road you just need people that are there for you to pick you up and show you the way.

  14. How can you become what you want to become if you can’t overcome major obstacles? You can't. Everyone describes the ups and downs in life differently, but living them and overcoming our hardships is the only way to learn from our mistakes, and move forward. Making a bright future is something we have to do for ourselves, not the people around us, and overcoming these obstacles isn't something your parents can help you with. Life is the same way. "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." This tells us that we need to put our past behind us, and make success all on our own, not y following others. For example you want to move up in your job? You have to work for it. There will be people better then you but you have to work to show that you can be just as good if not better than them to get where you want to be. Life is a roller coaster ride, and if we don't take control there is no point in living. Through bad times and good times there is always something to make you stronger and more successful. Many people have already found that you can't rely on others to make you successful or else you hit a dead end. Being individually independent helps you grow as a person. Live an exciting, worthwhile life and don’t let the obstacles stop you from becoming what you want to become.

  15. "If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." I believe this quote means you cannot have a future or go anywhere in life without obstacles. Say someone breezes through high school and doesn't get good grades or try, at the end of their path they aren't going to be able to go to college, or get a decent job with the low effort they put into doing their work in high school. Not only do obstacles make people work harder to achieve their goal, they make you stronger in the long run. Life without struggles or obstacles would be boring! With that being said nothing would be a challenge and you could be a millionaire by doing nothing, not by working at anything in the end you can't even be proud of yourself because you basically did nothing and had no problems along the way.

  16. ‘’If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably leads to nowhere’’- anonymous. This quote has a lot to do whit me and my life. There are a lot of paths that come up in my life and 100% of the time I pick the side with the most obstacles because the reward is always better then the obstacles you face. For example in my life I wrestle and in the world of wrestling there is one way to get better or be a person everyone is afraid of and that is to practice. The obstacles that will come to my path are better wrestlers and long hours of training. The biggest one of all would have to be the motivation. To be successful to have a good season would be to pass through the obstacles that would be in front of me. All I know is that if I would have taking the past with no obstacles I would not be at the skill level I am today. Also I would like to add that I am not a person to ever take the past with least resistance because that’s not the person I am. I wish that some other people would do what I do and people would have better character. All I can say is that it is the better way to go the path with the obstacles because the reward is always worth the obstacles.
