"I believe that two people are connected at the heart, and it doesn't matter what you do, or who you are or where you live; there are no boundaries or barriers if two people are destined to be together"  ~Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts is a famous actress who has had her share of relationships.  Consider the theme of relationships in Frankenstein and discuss the author's use or intent.  Also, discuss what you have come to understand about relationships at this point in your life.  What has been the most significant relationship you have had to date?  It does not have to necessarily be with a significant other or a "physical" relationship.  It could be your relationship with a friend, parent, school etc.

  1. I'm kinda iffy with that quote i fell like if they were meant to be together things would be perfect .love is blind meaning when your in love u forget about. Everything else like with the frankestein those two were meant together .Victor and the Monster were meant to be together but couldnt cause Victor couldnt be know as the creater of the monster. in result frankesntein runs away and causeing mahem nd learning also .. the reason i say love is blind is cause ive been through it i was in a 2yr relatinship, nd i was BLIND yes those times were funn but like i was young to be inlove nd i forgot about everything else school, friends, hanging out socializm it was basically a waste of time i thought we were meant to be but we werent , so that quote ...ive been there done that !!

  2. The theme of Frankenstein talks about a strong relationship with others who care and watch for you. My relationship with Jesus is most important and my relationship with my family is very important as well. Being strong to my faith and family has helped me advance onward to my dreams and destiny. Showing care and support for others displays a positive impact and inspires others to also do the most good. When you show your compassion for others and do your part for God and country, you will be rewarded and have a very good feeling of giving out to others. For where your heart is, is where your treasure is.

  3. The Frankenstein family adopted Elizabeth and was previously planned that they should be married together. Elizabeth was very lively, graceful and affectionate. At this point in relationships I’ve realized that nothing lasts forever. Being in a failed relationship for over 3 years I’ve come to realize that you should just do your own thing and not worry about being in a relationship. Get through life, graduate; Graduate College and get a great job. It seriously isn’t that hard, many people these days are trying to rush things and be happy. Why? Why rush things when you can just let it happen.

  4. In Frankenstein, family becomes the counterpart to loneliness, which in turn is the primary impetus for evil. Family is seen as a solution to the destruction that the monster imposes on Victor. He wants a companion, a mate, a person to create for him some anchor in the social world. At this point of time in my life I’ve come to realize that relationships never last it’s something or someone always trying to come in between the to its not supposed to be 3 or more in a relationship they always say good things forever. Being a relationship for about 2 years I’ve noticed that a person does change after a while, your drop everything for that one person and the after math is not good especially if you’re not doing school work. When you and the person are no longer together you notice that it wasn't worth your time or energy that you gave into the relationship. You have all the time in the world you just have to focuse on you and what you have to get done

  5. The Theme of Frankenstein , is family and love are the solution to everything. The most significant relationship that i have had yet would be with my boyfriend Rolf of a year and a half. I have been with this kid it feel's for about forever! It might sound cheezy but honestly i fell in love with him from the start, and there are struggles every once in a while but if you love somoene and they love you you will fix everything. you will know if your in love and if your not.Yes people change, evryone does it could be for the better or it could be for the worse but change isent always bad. I am honestly in love with him and i know that what we have is special and that i am so lucky to have someone like him in my life. But the main thing in a relationship is that you both need space, space is good let him go out and hangout with his friends one weekend and you do the same. Its all about trust and not being crazy!

  6. One theme of Frankenstein, is family and love are the solution to everything. The most significant relationship that I have yet had was with my best friend Danielle. Shes one of the only people that never judges me for anything that I do no matter how stupid of a choice it is. Everytime i need someone she is there for me and gives me advice I know that I can always go to her. I've never really knew what it felt like to actually have a true best friend until I met her two years ago.

  7. This quote can deffinetly correspond to what we are reading in the novel Frankenstein. The relationship between the creature and Victor is a very strong bond, as much as Victor does not want to beleive it or think it they do. Victor created the "monster" he is technically like a father figure to it. Even though he abandoned the creature at first they ended up meeting, they have a bond that will never be removed. It's everlasting. Relationships are so important in life. I really couldnt imagine my life without my mother. She helps me with anything and i can open up to her. i know i can tell her anything even if i choose not to, she wouldnt judge me for my decisions. she might not agree with all of them but she always supports me. she knows me so well and i have deffinetly gained some personality traits from her. shes a great person and we definetly have a special bond. having good relationships with your parents is important. its makes life easier.
